- Business Nominee: This stream is for individuals who want to establish, purchase, or partner in an existing Yukon business or who wish to start a new business in the territory. Candidates must meet the minimum criteria for personal net worth, investment, business experience, and language proficiency.
The YNP provides successful nominees with a provincial nomination certificate, which can then be used to apply for Canadian permanent residence to the federal government. A nomination through the YNP can enhance an individual’s chances of obtaining permanent residency.
